Hayley and Tony Northumberland Beach Wedding
You wouldn’t believe this was only last month would you? What glorious sunny weather Hayley and Tony were blessed with on this stunning stretch of Northumberland coast. It was an amazingly romantic setting, for an extremely romantic couple.
I felt really privileged to be shooting this as the family, guests and couple were such a joy to be around all day. Thank goodness it was fabulous weather as Tony’s family had travelled from New Zealand so it was important the Northern coastline was shown off to its best! Tony’s creative and generous mother had handmade the rings adding an incredible personal touch to the wedding ceremony at a baking hot Alnwick Registry Office.
A relaxed reception followed at a rented holiday house on the sea front with guests each bringing dishes, sitting and chatting on rugs in the garden. The party spilled out on to Newton Beach where the kids paddling in the sea in their finery! The chaps rolled their trousers up chatting in the waves and the ladies ditched their heels for a game of frisbee (yep.. thats how you spell it, I googled it)!
After a stroll up the beach with the happy couple to Embleton Bay to capture some very special wedding shots using Dunstanburgh Castle as a backdrop, the day concluded with a meal and celebratory toasts at The Ship Inn on Newton Beach for all the guests. It was a truly fantastic day!
Congratulations Hayley and Tony and I wish you a wonderful future together!
