Bettina Nissen – Product Photography

I recently promoted a fabulous deal for local designers and artists to use me or my studio for their product photography.

Bettina Nissen got in touch as my sister Bronwen Deane (jewellery designer- www.bronwendesign.co.uk) and herself have studios at the Mushroom Works just down the road from mine so it made sense to work together.  She needed to capture her new product range in line with promoting her presence at the Tent event from 22nd-25th September at the Old Truman Brewery in East London.

We used a gritty old wall at the nearby Colbalt Studios and it worked a treat as a backdrop. Various product shots were also achieved at the studio. Below is a screen shot of her promo e-shot and a couple of mine form the shoot.

You will see more of her work on her website http://www.bettinanissen.com

Disaronno Advert

I shot this image in my studio last week with ND Creative as they were designing an advert for Disaronno… glass is always tricky to shoot due to reflections and the drinks have to be captured before the ice melts! I later invested in some glass cubes for the next time….

Waterline Bar Newcastle, food, drink and interior for website

Last week I created a set of creative and colourful images for a brand new website for the quayside Waterline Bar due to launch soon. We had chef cooking up a storm and the drinks were flowing…. so I can vouch for the fact that not only is the food and drink beautifully presented but is also top quality on the taste buds…..perks of the job ;-).

So if you are looking for an excuse to avoid the cooker get down there for your din dins!

Piper Heidsieck Champagne

Well it was cocktails for a waiter guide last week and Champagne this week, anyone would think I liked a drink!

First Drinks needed a close up shot of a model pouring champagne with a range of aprons, it was a bit of an experiment but the client was super pleased with the results.
