Arlo Bistro cafe in Jesmond is a must if you live in Newcastle, love quirky and eclectic interior design and fresh, creative tasty menus. The super nice owners Susan and Lucas were portrait clients of mine a few years ago and came back to me with a well received request to capture atmospheric shots of their amazing new family run Bistro Cafe.

The interior design was completely up my street as you can see from my interiors page, I even spotted a few things on display I have in my own home, so it was really a creative treat to photograph! The sun shone for the outside regulars and the chefs were non stop! This is a busy, buzzy, friendly place that I would really recommend.

Ernest Launch Night in the Ouseburn Newcastle

Yum Yum, well that pretty much sums up the interior, the food, the drinks and the delightful service from those fab folk at Ernest eatery in Newcastle. The launch night attracted those who were inquisitive and full of anticipation and tickets were limited. It was a relaxed and fun evening with a gorgeous spread of complimentary ‘tasters’ and beautiful cocktails amongst a comfortable interior that has a unique warm glow.

I captured the evening in a colourful style to reflect the atmosphere of the venue and various groups of happy guests. Its well worth a visit whether you are gagging for a coffee fix by day (fantastic coffee provided by the Ouseburn Coffee Company at http://ouseburncoffee.wordpress.com/) or a slap up meal in the eve (amazing chef Ross will delight your tastebuds!) you won’t be disappointed!
