Last week I signed up for a super valuable training day through Teesside University with my mentor Keith Moss to shoot at a venue I hadn’t been to before. Wynyard Hall is notoriously difficult to shoot in due to the light conditions so we had the chance to guide our models and experiment with our […]
This week I have travelled to shoot in Edinburgh, Manchester, Selby and Harrogate for various Heineken UK briefs commissioned by ND Creative. I have clocked up some serious mileage! This shoot was to illustrate an article about a refurb of Churchill’s pub in the vibrant gay district of central Manchester. It boasted an eclectic mix […]
Little blue eyed jack is such a gorgeous little baby, he was sitting but not crawling so was a treat to photo as he sat there looking edible! The various blankets that mum brought were perfect for adding splashes of bold colour to the shots and lent themselves to a graphic collection. Any one coming […]
On Friday I shot for Fusebox Design at this amazing rooftop location in the centre of Newcastle. They were hosting the launch of the Newcastle Youth Council of which Fusebox created the brand and the website. The Council members presented to various key members of the city including the Sheriff of Newcastle (yes I didn’t […]
My daughter Daisy recently offered her fashion styling knowledge to charity fund raising fashion show for Teenage Cancer Trust. Students at her school did an amazing job of organising sponsors such as Fenwicks, Lipsy, Mac, Republic and Millies Cookies to support and donate to the event. It managed to raise over £1000 for the charity […]
Sophie contacted me last year and inquired about wedding photography, and by a twist of fate it turned out that I used to babysit her and her brothers when I was a teenager as we grew up on the same street in Heaton. Sophie and Jay wed at As You Like It, Newcastle upon Tyne […]
These images were shot in a beautiful home setting in uber cool Hackney, London. A trip south on business meant an opportunity to capture the gorgeous new addition to the family Wren and a handful with older brother Charlie.
Harry was only a few days old when we captured him so small and sleepy. Mum Gabrielle wanted to capture the tiny newborn size and feotal mannerisms that her baby had in his first days. The stripey clothes and blankets that she brought added really unique colour schemes and compositions to the images and the […]
Well it was cocktails for a waiter guide last week and Champagne this week, anyone would think I liked a drink! First Drinks needed a close up shot of a model pouring champagne with a range of aprons, it was a bit of an experiment but the client was super pleased with the results.
It’s always a bonus to shoot cocktails before the bank holiday weekend! My BBQ guests inevitably got to sample these and more during the royal wedding festivities and bank hol bonanza! The shoot was for First Drinks, commissioned by ND Creative – www.ndcreative.com.
