Pictures of Pitchers

Last week I had to shoot pictures…..

of my pictures…..

of pitchers!!!

You may remember the images of cocktail pitchers I captured recently for First Drinks, well these have now been applied to cocktail recipe cards for a national ‘Summer Pitchers’ kit. They needed images of the kit so here they are…

Charity Fashion Show at Heaton Manor School

My daughter Daisy recently offered her fashion styling knowledge to charity fund raising fashion show for Teenage Cancer Trust. Students at her school did an amazing job of organising sponsors such as Fenwicks, Lipsy, Mac, Republic and Millies Cookies to support and donate to the event. It managed to raise over £1000 for the charity which was a fantastic result!

Hanna Schewppe had battled liver cancer and was celebrating a year marker of the treatment being successful, she was the main project manager and brought Daisy on board for the clothes sourcing, fashion styling and show choreography.

I offered to capture the event behind the scenes and a few of the event for documentation. I left most catwalk shots to the paps from the local press with the humongous lenses!

rat in me car park…..

I was in Hackney this week… saw this where we parked the car, the council don’t like this painting but I think it’s pretty cool!

Horsey horsey…..

Over the next few weeks I will be updating my blog with more of my commercial work. This shoot was particularly exciting as in all my years of shooting I have never had horses as my subject but hoped for an opportunity. The studio at Venture where I worked for 6 years encouraged clients to bring their pets in for family sessions but sadly no one ever brought their horse! So I was over the moon when commissioned for the website for the Tilery Equestrian Centre in Ponteland, Northumberland.

Its a really well equipped and very friendly stables that has recently rebranded and given its marketing a boost with a photoshoot to feature on their new website now in the process of being built. I was briefed to capture images of the activities to help illustrate the stable’s facilities. It was great to see how all ages participated and there were a multitude of fantastic shot opportunities from jump action to the sheer height of those horsey legs!

For anyone local who fancies a fab few hours learning how to ride or brushing up on those skills form years ago, get in touch via www.tileryequestriancentre.co.uk

Julia and Olivia Portraits

I went to meet Julia and her daughter Olivia on a gorgeous sunny morning just after Easter. They were both such brilliant clients, so full of energy and ideas. Their enthusiam kept a few nerves totally at bay and we had a really great time together! The laughs and energy were captured so naturally and I can’t wait to deliver the show tomorrow!
