She is well experienced, an Award Winning Photographer and has a friendly and professional approach.
With over 40 years behind the camera and 26 years as a Professional Photographer in Newcastle working in design agencies, portrait studios and running her own photography business, Sarah Deane is highly skilled at capturing you or your company in a relaxed documentary style. Sarah prides herself in her customer service, guiding clients through the photography process, with tips on how to pose and reflecting individual personalities in her photography. Sarah loves creating bespoke photography to your brief, listening carefully and delivering great results with professionalism and positivity!
Sarah’s passion for photography began at school in the 1980’s when an art A level teacher offered her use of a converted stock cupboard for a dark room in 6th form. There she spent hours discovering the magic portraiture in film and print.
After an Art Foundation at Newcastle College she studied Graphic Design at The London Institute of Arts in the late 1990’s. Her degree specialised in photographic illustration guided by tutor, Pixies album photographer Simon Larbelestier. After several years of freelance she relocated to her native North East to join Venture Portraits Studio in Gosforth, 2002. Here she gained multiple industry awards for her Portrait Photography and retouching design.
After several years at Portrait Studios and creative agencies she set up her own photo studio in Newcastle’s city centre in 2011 to specialise in Portrait Photography in a relaxed environment for local, national and international companies. She offers a wide range of portraiture and corporate photography services out on location from corporate teams, to architecture and industrial factory shots in hard hat and high vis!
26 years on as a Professional Photographer in Newcastle she still loves doing what she does and has great pride and passion in delivering fine tuned results to happy clients.
