The Hoppings Chips

A fair isn’t a fair without chips! This is the biggest travelling fun fair in Europe, held in June on the town moor in Newcastle. The same sky high rides return each year jogging memories of the 1980’s and winning poorly goldfish in a bag. These images show a mix of tacky and tasteful conjuring up the smells, colour and typefaces of the fairground.
