Jo & Jeff Wedding @ Wylam Church & Close House Northumberland

This is the second set of images from Jo & Jeff’s amazing Northumberland wedding at Easter this year. After great speeches food and mingling, the wedding party were joined by the evening guests who arrived to a magician, a hog roast and a golfing competition to get the ball into a hole on an island in the lake.

One of the guests said if her hubby managed to get a hole in one she would give him the additional child he had be asking for….the thing was, she hadn’t realised it was actually  possible. Oops, looks like they will be getting busy this year!

For anyone planning their wedding or knows someone who needs a photographer with plenty of creativity and a friendly nature, please drop me a line for my package information at sarah@sarahdeanephotography.co.uk or call 07960 338357.

Jo & Jeff Wedding @ Wylam Church & Close House Northumberland

The gorgeous couple Jo and Jeff got married and celebrated last month at two beautiful settings in Northumberland. They both looked amazing in their wedding finery and grinned from ear to ear ALL day & night so were an absolute joy to photograph!

It was a truly fantastic day and choosing a handful to show you hasn’t been easy from the hundreds of happy moments captured, but hopefully you will enjoy these that take you from morning to the groups at Close House. The wedding breakfast, couple and evening shots will come next so watch out for the golf club action!

Jo & Ben wedding Sunday May 16th

It was absolutely chucking it down on the morning on the 16th and I woke with a fear we would all be getting very, very soggy! Jo and Ben had hired an old London Routemaster bus to take the wedding from the church in Tynemouth via the beach for shots then on to the Saville Exchange so I hoped this could be a ‘plan B’ portable studio!

The church service was spectacular, so moving with the choir’s songs and the powerful church organ and the grand interior. The kids played quietly at the back and the ladie’s colourful spring outfits created a vibrant atmosphere.

Jo had previously told me that the ceremony was the most important part of the day for them so I wanted to capture this perfectly. Although my work was cut out as the Vicar was really militant, took no prisoners and strictly ordered me to hover at the back of the church using no flash (there was to be no messing or I was ‘out’!!!), I captured some lovely moments and as luck would have it the sun was breaking out.

Check out the shots from the day…. they are pretty special (stage one below.. two and three to come soon) feel free to comment!!
